When changing the basin, turn the whole Gardenia basin upside down, and then gently tap the bottom and outer wall of the basin to knock it out. If the soil is too dry to pour out, you can properly pour some water.
After the gardenia is poured out, the whole plant with soil can be planted into a new basin. The caliber of the new basin is about 5cm larger than the original one.
After planting in a new basin, water it in time, place it in a well ventilated and bright place, spray water on the leaves to increase the humidity, or trim the lower branches and leaves to reduce the evaporation.
Do not change pots in the summer high temperature and plum rain season or April, or in the flowering period and when there are flower buds. The new basin is bigger than the original basin, so it should be filled properly. The soil should be consistent with the previous soil properties, otherwise it will affect its growth.
