It can be propagated by sowing method, ball dividing method, branch inserting method, leaf inserting method and bud inserting method. The first is to sprinkle seeds in the soil. The second is to put the ball in the soil and plant it in a new flowerpot. The third is to insert its petioles obliquely into the substrate to make the soil moist. The fourth kind needs to wait until its ball grows a few centimeters of buds and then break it off and insert it in the soil.

1. Sowing method

This is to choose some good seeds and soak them for a day or so, so that they can germinate. But not too much water. After that, you need to prepare a flowerpot and put soil in it. After leveling the soil, sprinkle the seeds on it, moisten the flowerpot with water, cover it with glass, place it in an environment of 18 to 20 degrees, and germinate about ten days later.

2. Divide the ball

The requirement of corm is long for two or three years, and it needs to be in dormancy state. The next step is to bury it in the soil first, then pour it through water and place it in a 22 ℃ room for germination. When the bud grows to about 0.5cm, the bulb is dug out and cut into two or four pieces. Note that each piece must have at least one bud, put each piece in a new flowerpot, it will form a new plant, this is in the autumn.

3. Branch insertion

Select the newly sprouted shoots on its bulb, the length of which is 23 cm, and insert them into fine sand or soil. After that, put it in a place where there is sunshine but no direct sunlight. Keep the temperature between 18 and 20, and it will grow roots in 15 days or so.

4. Leaf cutting

Leaves need to be strong and grow for a while. Take it down with the petiole, cut off the half of the leaf, incline it into the substrate, keep the soil moist, then cover the glass, keep it in a cool environment, keep the room temperature at 25 ℃ and high humidity, after 20 days or so, the root will grow well.

5. Bud insertion

Generally, this operation is carried out in spring. The sprout of the seed ball is about 4cm long, and then the new sprout just grows is broken off, and then inserted in the soil, and the soil humidity is maintained. If you take good care of it, it will bloom from June to July of the next year.
