This method is usually to collect seeds in October, wait until the shade is dry and store them, and then sow them in the next spring. Before sowing, soak the seeds in cold water for 2-3 hours, take them out and put them into the cattail bag, wash them with water for 2-3 times a day, sow the seeds into the soil one week later, and cover them with a layer of 1-2cm thick soil. Do not pour water, but use the method of soaking basin to make up water, so that the seeds will not be washed away. Wait until the seeds are seeded, you can see the sunshine properly.
It is better to carry out in May to September. Select a healthy branch with a length of 15-20cm, do not use too thin branch cutting, which is not easy to survive. In the prepared soil, use chopsticks to insert a small hole first, insert the branch into the soil, water it through, and cover it properly.
If it is carried out in autumn, it is necessary to use annual mature branch cuttings. In winter, it is necessary to keep warm and prevent the branches from frostbite.
This kind of propagation method is mostly carried out when changing pots. It is suggested to dig out the plants in early spring, divide them into many clumps after root pruning, and then plant them into pot soil separately, which is easy to survive.
