Ping An tree can be cutted in spring or autumn, generally in April, may, September and October, when the temperature can be kept between 22 ℃ - 28 ℃, which is more suitable for cutting of Ping An tree.
When cutting Ping'an trees, they usually choose flowerpots or nutrient bowls as cutting containers, and the substrate can be configured by themselves. Mix vermiculite and peat as cutting medium. Before cutting, it needs to be disinfected.
When cutting, Ping'an tree needs to choose suitable cuttings. Take down the healthy branches of Ping'an tree that were born in that year, which have been half lignified, and require the leaves to be bright.
The cuttings removed can be cut into about 15cm long strips, generally retaining 2-3 leaves, and the rest will be cut off, and the lower part of the cuttings will be cut into a slope.
Before cutting, the cuttings of Ping'an tree can be soaked in rooting powder solution for a while before cutting. After cutting, water should be poured into it, and then it should be covered with plastic bags and kept in a cool place.
After cutting of Ping An tree, it is necessary to keep the cutting medium moist. Water once every 4 days to keep high humidity. In about 20 days of growth, plastic bags can be taken off
After cutting of Ping'an tree, it will take root in about a month. It can be transplanted, and the seedlings and the substrate can be transplanted into a slightly larger flowerpot, and then it can be maintained normally.
