It usually takes half a month to a month for the cuttage of jasmine to take root. If you want to make it take root faster, you need to do it at a suitable time and give it a suitable growth environment. Generally, the best cutting in May to October, and after cutting to avoid direct sunlight, appropriate spray water, keep the soil moist.
1. Select substrate: select the soil with strong permeability for cuttage jasmine, and the soil with too thick viscosity will affect the rooting of branches.
2. Select branches: the branches should be strong and annual, and keep the 2 leaves of the upper part. It is better to have more than 2 buds on the branches.
3. Cutting: before cutting, use a stick to cut a hole in the substrate and insert the treated branches. It should be noted that not all the branches should be inserted into the substrate, but 2 /3 of the branches should be exposed on the surface. After cutting, slightly compact the soil and pour it through water.
4. Daily maintenance: after cutting, it should be put in a well ventilated and cool place, and do not fertilize it. Generally, it will take root in 15-30 days. When its branches grow new buds, it means that the branches have survived.
