Common insect pests of Syringa spinosa are red spider and sawfly.
If red spider is found, it can be killed with 1500 times solution of 0.36% matrine.
If there is a cut leaf bee, it can be controlled by 20% insecticidal net 1000 times liquid spray, and it can also be artificially killed.
