Hardwood and green branch can be used for mulberry cutting. The cutting time of these two branches is different. If hardwood cutting is used, it can be selected from March to April in spring. Just in time, the juice in the hardwood has not started to flow and the growth has not started to sprout. At this time, the cutting just catches up with the sprouting period, which is conducive to rooting and sprouting, and continues to sprout and grow. If you use green cuttings, you can choose September to October in autumn. The climate is very cool and the humidity in the air is large, which is good for rooting. However, because of the different climate in different regions, the cutting time will be slightly different
1. Branches: cut the branches from the top of the robust tree body. Use the two-year-old branches. The length of the cut is about 30 cm. It's better to have new bud points on the top. Cut the lower part to about 60 degrees. If there is no impact of pests and diseases, leave 2-3 leaves on the top and remove the ones below.
2. Sand: the substrate can be permeable and drained sand. Before use, it should be disinfected, with a thick bottom of at least 20cm.
3. Cutting: dip the pruned branches into the rooting powder, and then insert them into the moist sand, and they will take root in about 15 days.
