The cutting of ziyezhesiao is usually carried out in spring or autumn, when the temperature and climate are suitable, it is more conducive to rooting and survival. If it is cuttage in summer and winter, the survival rate is very low, because it will enter into dormancy in high and low temperature environment, and it is very difficult to take root in temperature discomfort.
1. Leaf cutting: the cutting can be carried out with leaves. Select the leaves with strong growth and no disease, and dip the rooting powder at the bottom. It likes to moisten the environment, so the best substrate for cutting is pure pearl stone or water moss after moistening. Just insert the prepared leaves on it, pay attention to moistening, and put them in a cool place.
2. Bulb cutting: in addition to leaves, bulbs can also be used as cuttings. It is necessary to select the main root with large growth and long axis bulb, which proves that the nutrient is sufficient and is more conducive to rooting and survival. When cutting, carefully peel off the scales on the bulbs, and then directly sprinkle them on the medium. Alternatively, the bulb can be divided into small segments and then inserted in the substrate for propagation. After inserting, it should also keep moisture and heat. Wait for the later period to grow stably and then transplant to the flowerpot.
