Select a branch from the mother plant and cut it, the best length is about 15cm. It is best to use dark green branches that are hard and close to the root. Cutting time is also required, try to cut in the morning, at this time the moisture of the branches is more sufficient.
Cut off the leaves at the bottom of the branch and keep 2-3 leaves at the top. If we do not prune the leaves, it will consume more nutrients and water, which is harmful to its rooting. The lower end of the branch should be cut obliquely, with an angle of 45 °.
Prepare the cutting substrate in advance, which can be prepared with peat soil, perlite or vermiculite, and use it in the proportion of 1:1. Before cutting, it should be disinfected, because if there are bacteria in the soil, the cutting branches will be damaged and affect the rooting.
After pruning the bottom leaves, it is better to place them for a period of time, and the cuttings should be cut after the position of the cuttings becomes dry. Dig a small hole in the substrate, insert the processed cuttings into the substrate, and keep the top leaves not too close to the substrate, so as to prevent the leaves from infecting and rotting. Keep moist before rooting, don't be illuminated by strong light.
