Generally, we choose cutting in spring or autumn. The climate is mild in these two seasons, and the temperature difference between day and night is not big. Cutting in spring will blossom in December, and cutting in autumn will blossom in April next year.
Before cutting, the strong branches shall be cut first, and then cut with the pre disinfected scissors. The position of cutting down shall be 0.4cm away from the upper leaves, and the cutting mouth shall be neat and flat. Cut off the first two leaves inserted into one end of the soil, and reserve two small leaves at the top. Then put it in the shade for 3 to 4 hours, to protect the cut, so that the branches inserted into the soil will not rot.
The best soil for cutting is pine needle soil, which has a strong inhibitory effect on bacterial growth and helps it to take root quickly without rotting. The bottom two branches are inserted into pine needle soil, and the top is paved with perlite, so as to improve the ornamental degree in the later stage. Then spray the soil and branches evenly and spray them in a cool and ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight and wait for the roots to take root at the bottom.
After rooting, the branches can be placed in the sun to avoid direct sunlight. Regular maintenance spray water, waiting for later pot transplanting.
