Jueland is usually propagated without cutting, because its branches are not suitable for rooting, so cutting is very difficult to survive. It is usually propagated by grafting, or by sowing or high pressure. In addition, domestic cultivation often because of climate reasons, resulting in it can not harvest.
1. Grafting: grafting is a commonly used method, usually in spring. Choose Magnolia or Magnolia as rootstock, cut the rootstock from the root up, and cut a knife at the junction of bark and xylem, with a depth of about 1cm. Cut a healthy branch and bud, cut the bottom into a slope, and fit it into the xylem of the rootstock. After binding it, cover it with fresh-keeping film. After grafting, make sure that the wound does not touch water, especially in rainy season.
2. Sowing: the fruit of Ficus flavescens is relatively rare. The fruit is about the same size as the pigeon egg, and there are red seeds in it after opening. Remove the seeds and store them in the sand until spring sowing. Choose loose and fertile soil, put seeds in it, and cover with a layer of fine soil. About a month, seeds can germinate.
3. High pressure: it can also be propagated by high pressure method. Select a healthy growing branch and peel it at a certain distance from the top with a width of about 2cm. After that, wrap the peeled area with soil, and then moisten it with plastic film. Wait until it takes root, cut off the branches and transplant them.
