Silver star can be propagated by cutting.
The cutting propagation time of Silverstar is all year round, of course, the best propagation is spring and autumn, because this time is the growth period of succulent plants, Silverstar has a good growth momentum, leaves are relatively full, and the survival rate of cutting is relatively high.
The cuttings of silver star can choose the top branch of rosette. Remove this part and insert it into the prepared soil. Keep the temperature at 20-24 ℃ and generally take root 15-20 days after cutting.
Silver star can also be propagated by leaf cutting.
Select the thick leaves, cut off the mature fleshy leaves at the base, put them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wound, and then put them in the prepared soil obliquely after lying flat, and keep the soil slightly moist. Generally, about 10 days after planting, the adventitious roots and small plants can be produced from the leaf base, and then they can be transplanted.
For Silverstar, we can also use the way of ramet propagation.
The lateral buds at the base of the plant can be used for the propagation of silver star. After cutting off the head, the new buds growing from the residual stem and root can also be used for group propagation.
However, the Silver Star generally does not harvest seeds, so it cannot use the propagation method of sowing.
