Cutting can be carried out all year round, but the temperature is required to be between 20 ~ 30 ℃.
When cutting, select the bamboo with many branches and vigorous growth, gently peel away the surrounding basin soil to expose the joint of branches and roots. Cut a small part half centimeter above the joint of roots and stems of the cuttings with a sharp knife to expose the blade for half a day, then apply a layer of washed fresh moss, and always keep wet.
After 10 days, remove the fresh moss. If there is tumor like healing tissue at the scar, cut it off by sticking to the root. Keep two branches and cut them down by one third. Cut off the rest.
Use bamboo sticks to drill holes in the middle of the cloth bag (the bag is 8-10cm high, 6cm in diameter, filled with wet sandy soil), insert the cuttings into the manhole for 2cm, and compact. Arrange the cloth bags with spikes along the inner wall of the basin one by one. Put a high and medium wide mouth glass bottle in the center of the basin. Use a 60-70cm gauze strip to wrap around the outer side of each cloth bag, and put two ends of the cloth strip into the bottom of the glass bottle.
Finally, fill the basin with soil, make the glass bottle mouth slightly higher than the soil surface, spray water once, and fill the glass bottle with water. In the future, as long as the water in the glass bottle is kept constant, water can be supplied to the cuttings normally and moderately.
Put the transplanting basin in a cool place and keep away from the wind. The new roots will be released in 20 days or so. After 1 month, they can be planted in the basin.
