Ji Xiaoju likes light, and likes strong light. At ordinary times, we must let the plants bask in the sun more. Put them on the south balcony with the best indoor light. The more the light is, the more Ji Xiaoju grows, the more it blossoms, and it is not easy to grow in vain.
The most suitable growth temperature for Jixiaoju is 15-22 , the maintenance temperature in winter should not be lower than 5 , and the high temperature in summer should not exceed 32 . The low temperature should be moved indoors to keep warm, and the high temperature should be shaded and sprinkled to cool down.
As a grass flower, Ji Xiaoju has a high demand for water, but it cannot allow the soil to accumulate water. At ordinary times, you can weigh the weight of the potting soil with your hands, and feel that it is obviously lighter to irrigate thoroughly, so as to avoid the soil being wet for a long time and causing rotten roots.
Jixiaoju likes fertilizer. When planting, organic fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer can be mixed into the soil at the bottom of the pot. During the growth of the plant, compound fertilizer water with balanced nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium should be irrigated once every half month. After the branches and leaves of the plant are full, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be used to promote the rapid flowering of the plant.
Jixiaoju should be pruned when it is young. Generally, when the seedling grows to 8cm high, the top 2cm leaves of the plant should be pinched off, and the 6cm stems and leaves (about 8 leaves) should be kept. When the branches grow to 8cm long, the topping should be continued until Jixiaoju grows plump.
Like other small chrysanthemums, Jixiaoju especially likes to attract the occurrence of diseases and insect pests, especially small insects, such as aphids, red spiders, and small black flies. Usually, it can be sprayed once every half a month to protect the flower spirit, and more ventilation can be used to prevent the occurrence of insect pests.
