After flowering, hyacinth seeds should be pruned, preserved at low temperature and replanted. Since the plants need to be dormant after flowering, the stems and leaves of the plants need to be cut off by hydroponics together with the roots; then they can be replanted in the soil or water after November in the refrigerator and refrigerated layer.

1. Trim

With the increase of temperature, the branches and leaves gradually withered and yellow, and began to enter the dormancy period. Cut off the stems and leaves of the plants entering the dormancy period. Hydroponically cultured plants are cut off with the same root system. Soil culture only cuts off the flowers and leaves on the top.

2. Low temperature preservation

Take out the treated bulb before the high temperature in summer, dry it in the shade, wrap it with newspaper and put it in the refrigerator refrigeration layer after drying, store it at about 4-5 ℃, pay attention to the temperature not lower than 0 ℃.

3. Replanting

When the weather turns cold in November, take out the preserved bulbs and replant them into the soil or water. Soil culture planting, as long as the ball root is buried in the soil, the root is exposed, and placed in a cool place for about 1 week, normal maintenance can be done; while hydroponics is to place the plant on the top of the bottle 1 cm from the water surface, and then placed in a cool place to promote its roots.

4. Precautions

The next year's hyacinth plants may shrink to a certain extent, because the bulbs have degenerated. Generally, the bulbs can bloom in three years, and it is difficult to bloom in the fourth year. If you need flourishing flower branches, it is recommended to buy new bulbs directly in the second year.
