Sowing: soak the seeds in water for 4-6 hours, fully absorb water, and then bury them in the soil at a depth of 1 cm, and water them appropriately to keep the soil moisture. Cutting: cut the branches of about 15-20cm, remove the lower leaves, only leave the upper 2-3 leaves and insert them into the soil, waiting for rooting.

Sowing and propagation

Spring and summer are the best time for planting coralline rattan, and the best temperature for germination is 22-28 ℃.

Before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in water for 4-6 hours. After fully absorbing water, they can be buried in the soil at a shallow depth of 1 cm.

Water it moderately to keep the soil moist. The soil should be a good drainage, rich humus rich acid soil.

In about 30 days, the seeds of coralline vine we planted will take root.

Cuttage Propagation

Spring is the best season for cutting.

First of all, we should cut off the whole branch with good quality, each section is about 15-20cm. Then remove the lower leaves from the branches, leaving only 2-3 leaves in the upper part.

After that, we can insert the branches into the flowerpot which has been covered with peat soil and coarse sand. We can pour enough water, cover the flowerpot with a plastic bag, and put it in a semi overcast environment.

What we need to do next is to wait patiently. About 15-20 days later, the cuttings of coralline vine can take root. Transplanting can be continued after the new leaves grow out.
