1. Select a suitable ornamental lotus seed, and grind or cut the concave end of the seed on the cement ground.
2. Soak the seeds in warm water and wait for seedling.
3. Change water frequently during germination to keep water quality clear.
4. One week or so, when the root grows to about 10cm, it can be transplanted.
5. Remove the rooting plant from the upper basin, cut one plant from each basin, and the water layer is about 3-5cm, which should not be too deep, otherwise it is not conducive to plant growth, and the lotus leaf should not be submerged in the water.
1. Soil: select humus rich soil to reduce the amount of base fertilizer. If the mud is relatively rich, it is unnecessary to apply base fertilizer to prevent seedling burning.
2. Light: at least 8 hours of sunshine should be guaranteed in a day, but when it is exposed at noon, it should be kept away from the strong light.
3. Water content: in the early stage, the water layer can be controlled at about 3cm. If the water depth is too high, it is difficult to raise the temperature. In the growth season, the water level can be controlled at about 15cm. In addition, water can be added once a day in the morning.
4. Temperature: it is a thermophilic plant, the temperature should be above 13 ℃, otherwise it will cause slow growth or rot, flowering needs 22 ℃, it can withstand high temperature, 40 ℃ or above will not affect its growth, but pay attention to maintain the water in the basin.
5. Fertilization: it does not like fertilizer, so when the soil is relatively rich, it is unnecessary to apply fertilizer throughout the year.
