There are three planting methods of Dahlia, plant by plant propagation: select healthy root blocks, cut the buds and plant them; cutting: select the plants in good condition, cut the branches as cuttings, and insert them into the culture soil for cultivation; seed planting: put the seeds into the cultivation plate after treatment, and then transplant them when they grow into seedlings.

1. Branch propagation

Split planting can be carried out after spring. First of all, prepare the stored tubers, cut the tubers with buds, and plant them in the soil for normal cultivation. In this way, flowers can bloom in autumn. The advantage of split planting is high survival rate, economic benefit, simple and convenient, but the disadvantage is that the propagation coefficient is not too high.

2. Cutting cultivation

To cultivate Dahlia by cutting, first select the plants in good condition, cut the branches with buds as cuttings, and then insert the soil base with good drainage performance and sufficient nutrients. The disadvantage of this method is that the survival rate is not high. Late management is more troublesome, from weeding, topdressing, to pest control, can not make mistakes, in order to maintain it.

3. Seed planting

To select seed planting method, first select the culture plate, which is made of soil with uniform soil, good drainage and disinfection. Then spread the seeds on the soil base and cover it with a thin layer of soil. Finally, cover the whole soil base with film to create a high temperature and humidity cultivation atmosphere, and wait for it to germinate.

4. Daily care

After growing into a plant, dahlia needs to set up a pole for the branches. One is to make the flowers look better, and the other is to prevent the flowers from breaking. But also a reasonable supply of fertilizer, it before and after the flowering demand for nutrients is relatively large, to give it nutrients at the appropriate time, to avoid nutrient deficiencies affect flower posture.
