It is a shrub with a height of up to two meters. It usually blooms in April and leaves grow after flowering. It grows in a wide range and spreads all over the country. Oriental Paperbush likes the warm growing environment, especially in the south, but it can endure the temperature below zero. So in the condition of minus 10 to 20 degrees, Oriental Paperbush can be opened in March to April next year, and the temperature exceeds minus 20 degrees, Oriental Paperbush must be moved into the room, otherwise it will freeze to death.

The soil shall be kept at a certain humidity and shall not be excessively dry or wet. The soil is neutral and the acidity is not suitable for the growth of aroma. As the root of incense is the living environment that earthworms like, we should pay attention to turning the soil. It is suggested that we provide a loose soil and good drainage environment for Oriental Paperbush.
In autumn and winter, the potted plants should be moved indoors. The temperature should not be higher than 30 ℃, and the optimum temperature is 10-25 ℃, not lower than 5 ℃. Different varieties and regions have different degrees of low temperature tolerance.

The most suitable soil environment for aroma forming is the fertile soil with a large amount of humus. It is forbidden to soak roots in water for aroma forming, and good drainage is required. The grower can fertilize the incense in summer every year. Remember not to use human manure, but professional flower fertilizer. In winter, we need more fertilizer.
Watering and fertilization should be moderate, not excessive. If you want to blossom in winter, you need to water it often in autumn and winter to ensure that it is slightly wet, waterlogging is easy to rot roots, and if it is too dry, it is easy to cause the leaves to fall.

Pruning: in spring, you should prune the branches that are too leafy. At the same time, it should be "short, tight and healthy". Otherwise, it will affect the winter flowering.
