Prickly ash usually grows to about 3-7M, and there are some short thorns on the branches of the stem. The leaflets are opposite, oval or oval, and the length is about 2-7cm, and the edge of the leaves has tiny cleft teeth. Perianth piece has about 6-8 pieces, which is yellow green, and its shape and size are almost the same. The fruit is purplish red, usually between August and October.
