The spring and autumn seasons should be selected for basin changing. If you want to do it in spring, you can choose about March. If you want to do it in autumn, you can choose September. Avoid changing pots when the temperature is too high or too low. Not only does the plant recover slowly, but also it is easy to have bad performance.
Prepare a flowerpot that is larger than the old one, and fill it with suitable nutritious soil. Be sure to disinfect it before use. Tilt the flowerpot out of the plant, shake off the old soil around the root, and cut off the diseased root, fine root and withered root. After treatment, it is planted in a new pot of soil, poured with water after compaction, and finally placed in a cool and ventilated place.
Before changing the basin, it is necessary to control the water properly and keep the basin soil in a slightly dry state, so as not to cause damage to its root system when removing the basin. Do not be exposed to strong sunlight until the plant is restored to growth.
