Clivia usually opens in spring. We can see it blooming from New Year's day to Spring Festival. Under normal circumstances, the flowering period is from February to April, and there are flower friends who plant flowers in June and July. Its flowering time and planting areas, methods have a certain impact, so the flowering period is not very fixed.
This kind of flower needs to grow for a long time to bloom. Generally, it needs to be cultured for 4 or 5 years to bloom. It should wait until the plant grows 20-25 leaves. If it is well maintained, it will bloom in 2 or 3 years. Its flowering period is not fixed, and the breeding environment has a certain relationship with the climate.
1. Increase the light: most of the non flowering of the Clivia is caused by the dark breeding environment. If you want to make it bloom, you need to increase the light appropriately and let the plants see the sun as much as possible.
2. Reduce nitrogen fertilizer: when applying fertilizer, the amount of nitrogen fertilizer must not be too much, and the amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied properly once, and the amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be reduced.
3. Adjust the temperature: the best way is to adjust the temperature to a suitable range, the best room temperature is between 18-28 ℃, the temperature at night is not too low, around 8-10 ℃, too low temperature will affect its flowering.
