Indian brush flower is the common name of flaming grass. It is also called Zoysia Sedum and Hordeum. It is a herb of Scrophulariaceae, native to Uruguay and other places in America. It is a variety introduced and planted in China with high ornamental value.
Its whole plant can be used as medicine, cool and bitter, can be applied externally or taken internally with the efficacy of clearing heat and detoxification, cooling blood, hemostasis, diuresis and detumescence.
