1. Stem: Astragalus membranaceus is a perennial herb, with a height of about 50-100 cm. The stem is relatively thick and erect, with black or white villi distributed on it, branches on the upper part and fine edges on the edge.

3. Flowers: the racemes are densely distributed, with 10-20 flowers on them. The flower color is yellow or light yellow, the flower type is bell shaped, and the flowering period is from June to August.
4. Pods: the pods are membranous, about 20-30 mm in length and 8-12 mm in width, with spikes on the top, and the fruit period is from July to September.
It likes to grow in a cool place. The growing environment is suitable for sunny mountain areas. It has strong adaptability and can withstand cold and drought. However, it is afraid of heat and water logging. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the change of temperature and shade in summer. The application of water does not need too much. It must not cause water logging too much. Suitable for growing in deep sandy loam, can't grow in strong saline alkali soil, otherwise the growth will become weak.
