Under natural conditions, Dahe brocade will bloom in May, but sometimes it begins to draw out flower arrows slowly in April. June to July is its flowering period, and flowers will slowly wither in September and October. So the flowering period of dahejin is about June to October.
Not all plants can bloom. Whether they are planted or inserted, they usually bloom after three years. If the cuttings are small, they may be a little faster and properly maintained, and they can bloom as soon as they can.
The following is the flowering process of Dahe brocade photographed by a flower friend called coward. From the beginning of April, Dahe brocade drew out flower arrows and gradually began to bud and blossom, which lasted for two months.
This is what it looked like in early April.
After a month's growth, the arrow grows long and buds. This is the end of April and the beginning of May.
Nearly a month later, by the end of May, the flower bud finally blossomed. Its flowers are very small, only a little bigger than soybeans, but the color is very good-looking.
Slowly from June to July, the flowers will fade!
