It is distributed in Northeast China, such as Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Jilin. It is also found in Inner Mongolia and Hebei, mainly growing in meadow, Riverside wetland, etc. The distribution of Viola yedoensis is wide, except for the former, in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei and other places, mainly growing in the field, hillside grass.
