The fleshy leaves of the Liuli hall are arranged in rosettes, some of them are overlapped, and all of them are deflected to one side. The whole leaf disc is similar to a rotating windmill. The leaves are oval triangle, with sharp apex, concave front and convex back. The surface is densely covered with corrugated stripes, like rows of Liuli tiles, hence the name. The leaves are closely whorled on the stem axis, triangular lanceolate, sharp at the apex, with neat white protuberances on the surface, arranged in horizontal stripes.
The leaves of the glazed hall are grayish green or dark green, with yellow vertical stripes. Sometimes the whole leaves are yellow. The surface of the blade with twelve stripes is dark green, the back is green, and there are white stripes.
