It is irregular oblong or slightly oblate kidney shape, 5-15mm long, 2-6mm wide and 2-3mm thick. Sepals gray green, base united, apex 5-toothed, lobes lanceolate, of which 2 teeth united, surface densely covered with yellow white trichomes. There are two bracteoles in the base.
