Duck palm wood is not a fortune tree. There are differences between them. Duckweed is a plant of acanthopanax and Hedysarum, which is common in tropics and subtropics. Zhaocai tree is a plant of kapok and Cucurbita, and its origin is Mexico.
1. Leaf difference
The leaves are palmately compound, with 5 to 8 leaflets. The shape of the leaves is long oval, the color is dark green, and the surface is glossy.
The leaves of Zhaocai tree are also palmlike compound leaves, with 5 to 11 leaflets. The petioles are very short or nearly sessile, and the shape is oblong.
2. Flower difference
The flower of Schefflera is panicle, the flower is white, there are 5 to 6 petals.
The flowers of Zhaocai tree are usually solitary in the axils of the leaves on the top of the branches, with pale yellow green petals, which are narrow lanceolate.
