Scissor culture uses loose and fertile soil with the best growth. Try to use sandy soil containing organic matter, and the pH of the soil should be neutral or slightly alkaline.
It is very resistant to drought, so watering should be done in time, and sufficient water should be ensured during the growth period, generally once every 2-3 days, which should be determined according to the planting area. During flower bud differentiation, water less, once every 3-4 days.
The temperature of culture environment should be kept between 15-28 ℃. If the temperature is too low, the growth will be slow, or even there will be no flowering. If the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, it will stop growing. In summer, we need to do a reasonable cooling work to give it a cool environment.
