Indoor culture in winter, try to keep the basin soil dry. If the permeability of the soil is poor, try to put it in a well ventilated place for maintenance. After a hot summer, do not plant it in winter.
Millet star's growth needs plenty of sunshine. Besides, the winter sunshine is just a little bit. It doesn't need to be blocked. Put it beside the sunny window. In winter, it's easy for millet stars to grow up. Once the light is insufficient, the distance between leaves will increase, which can't be made up by a little sunshine.
In winter, when the temperature drops to about 10 ℃, move millet star to indoor for maintenance in time. Keep the temperature above 5 ℃ (the temperature in the family is generally about 15 ℃). When it is cloudy, try not to put the plant near the cold window.
The lowest temperature in the room should not be lower than 2 ℃, otherwise, the leaves of millet star will be frostbitten, and the growth points on the leaves will also die, affecting germination. However, after winter, new buds will grow and sprout lateral branches.

In winter, fertilizer can be applied properly. Thin liquid fertilizer, preferably granular fertilizer, can be used. But if the temperature is too low, stop fertilizing.
