If you want to keep the flower well, you should prepare suitable soil for it and give it a comfortable "home".
Tang Yin prefers loose cultivated soil, which also requires a certain drainage capacity. Such cultivated soil can provide enough air for its roots, and it will not rot its roots due to water accumulation.
I have prepared the following two plans for you:
Common: 65% peat soil + 35% coarse sand or other hard media
High quality: 25% coconut bran + 35% peat + 30% granular soil + 10% vermiculite
You can make your own deployment according to your specific situation.
Compared with other flowers, the germination speed of Tangyin is slower, and the seeds are very small, which may not be found in the soil. So when sowing, you can not sow it in the flowerpot first, but in the shallow plate for convenient care.
First prepare a shallow plate, spray a little fungicide, and then cover it with a layer of wet cultivated soil. Sprinkle the seed on it gently, take care of it, don't let it get mechanical damage.
Then cover the seeds with a thin layer of fine sand, no more than 1cm thick.
Use plastic film or glass sheet to cover the shallow plate to keep the humidity inside.
Put the plates in a room without direct sunlight. After about 15 to 30 days, they will germinate.
Wait until the buds come out of the shallow plate, they can be transplanted
For transplanting, you can choose a relatively small flowerpot and put the cultivated soil in it. Can't be too full, about 90% of the volume of the container.
Dig a small hole in the center of the flowerpot. It doesn't need to be too deep. It's about the same as the cultivation soil of the shallow plate.
Take out the buds together with the cultivated soil around them and plant them into the holes in the flowerpot. Do not damage the root of the bud in this step. Otherwise, the buds will not grow healthily.
Press the culture soil brought by the buds tightly with the culture soil in the flowerpot to ensure that the roots can continue to grow into the culture soil. This step should be careful not to press too tight, or the root of the plant may not be able to breathe.
Finally, water needs to be poured once. This time, it must be watered thoroughly, so as to facilitate the growth of young buds.
