Mimosa can be planted in spring and autumn. Before planting, it should be soaked in warm water of 35-40 ℃ for one day. The pot soil should be mixed with saprophytic soil, garden soil and fine yellow sand. Add a proper amount of culture soil to the pot soil, flatten the surface of the pot soil, and then use a watering can to sprinkle the water through, until the water all penetrates, the next planting can be carried out.
Potted Mimosa only needs to plant 1-2 seeds, not too many. After planting, the soil should be covered about 4cm deep, and the seeds should be covered. After sowing, wrap the whole basin with plastic film to keep moisture in the basin, and put the basin to the place where the light can be scattered from the balcony. When the basin soil is dry, the method of soaking basin can be used for irrigation, and the buds will appear in 1-2 weeks.
After budding, the plastic film shall be removed to receive light. When the height of seedlings is about 3cm, the seedlings can be transplanted and divided. When transplanting, it should be transplanted with soil or the seedlings will not be easy to feed. When the buds are watered, they should be placed in a half shade place, and then moved to a place with sufficient light when the slow seedlings are over.
After sowing, the soil should be fertile and deep, and keep the soil moist.
Applying topdressing once a month can reduce the amount of fertilizer properly.
Mimosa seedlings are not hardy, so they cannot be planted in cold winter.
