Snow iron taro is also called money tree. It is the same plant. It is a perennial herb. It is a rare foliage plant with stem in the ground. Its origin is some tropical grassland climate area with less rainfall in Africa.
There is no main stem in the aboveground part of the money tree, the plant is 50-80cm high, and there are fat massive stems underground, with a diameter of about 5-8cm. Its adventitious buds germinate from the position of the tuber, forming a large compound leaf. The leaflets are fleshy, with a very short petiole. The hard part at the bottom is the tuber, and the base of the petiole will be expanded and lignified, and some pinnate compound leaves will come from the stem. The leaves are oval in shape, green in color and metallic in luster.
