Begonia cutting is the best choice in spring or autumn. It is better not to cut in summer. Cutting will affect survival when it is dormant. Family potted cuttings can be carried out in April to May every year, and the best temperature is about 20 ℃.
1. Select branches: when cutting, use robust branches with a length of 5-6cm, with at least 2 buds on the selected branches. Cut the flower bud at the position of 1cm below the stem node of, and cut the lower end into horseshoe shape, so as to increase the base area with the substrate.
2. Preparation of substrate: prepare suitable substrate before cutting. It's better to use river sand, clean it, and put it in the basin after drying.
3. Cutting: put the treated branches into the substrate and place them in a cool environment.
