During the growth period, thin liquid fertilizer is applied every half a month, and the combination of watering and fertilization ensures that the fertilizer is suitable for thick and thin. In winter, the growth of silver queen is slow and the watering is less, so stop fertilizing.
The growth rate of silver queen was the fastest at 20-24 ℃, and it stopped growing above 30 ℃, and the leaves tended to be yellow and dry. Therefore, in summer maintenance, attention should be paid to heatstroke prevention, frequent ventilation and cooling, or watering to the ground. In winter, don't put the queen of silver near the window, lest the temperature be too low and affect the growth. In winter, control the temperature between 10 ℃ and no less than 5 ℃.
Outdoor cultivation in summer should pay attention to shade, not to make the light too strong, otherwise it is easy to occur sunburn. Pay attention to daylighting when overwintering in winter shed to prevent light shortage and leaf color fading.
Don't water in the silver queen's basin (watering too often), it's easy to cause root rot, it's better to see the basin soil dry before watering. If the basin soil is deep, the watering frequency should be reduced. In summer, more watering or water spraying can be done to ensure the humidity. It can't stand the sun. The queen of silver mainly watches the leaves. In the hot sun for a long time, especially at noon in summer, the leaves are burned, which affects the ornamental value and loses the significance of maintaining it.
