The pH requirement of pingpengcao plant is not very strict. It can grow and develop normally under the condition of pH = 5.5-7.5. But the fertility is closely related to it. The soil is fertile, there are many flowers, the color is gorgeous, the flowering period is long, the whole plant grows vigorously, and the ornamental period is long. On the contrary, it loses the ornamental value.
We choose the planting conditions of 65cm in height, 65cm-80cm in diameter, 1 × 1m or 2 × 2m in diameter and 60cm in depth.
The average temperature is 16.5-21.7 ℃, which is the most suitable for seedling culture; the most suitable temperature for pingpengcao is 16.5-24-29-13 ℃. When the average temperature of the day (late November or early December) is about 10 ℃, the plant stops growing.
Light had little effect on the growth and development of pingpengcao. It can grow normally under the light condition in Wuhan.

Spodoptera litura and other insects can be killed by 1000-1500 times of the enemy and sprayed on the surface of the leaves to kill the insects. Snails can be used for tea cake, quicklime, ginger powder, etc. to achieve the effect of insecticidal. There are also field management methods, that is, continuous removal of sponges and weeds.
