Soil: Narcissus can be cultivated in sandy soil with good water retention. Water content: at the beginning, water every day, 2-3 days before flowering. Light: put the newly cultivated Narcissus in the shade and move to the sunny place after 5 days. Temperature: 12-20 ℃.

I. soil

Sand culture method: because Narcissus likes warm and humid environment, loose and fertile sandy soil with good water retention performance is generally selected for cultivation. Put the washed fine sand into the basin to 3cm along the basin edge, peel off the bulb and bury it in the sand for about 1cm, and lay a few small stones on the top of the fine sand.

Water culture method: pour water into a shallow basin which has been placed for several days in advance, then make sure to submerge the clean bulb for about 1cm, and transfer it to a cool place.

Water content

Sand culture method: when using sand and stone method to plant, the first watering should be done thoroughly, and watering should be done every day. If the watering is not done in time, water shortage will easily lead to slow growth of flower roots.

Hydroponics: it needs to change water once a day for Narcissus, otherwise it will cause stem rot. changing water every day will make the regenerated roots clean and white. When changing water, the connected tap water can be dried for a period of time 2-3 days in advance, so that the residual chlorine and other impurities in the water can be removed. Before flowering, the water change time can be changed to 2-3 days.

III. light

The Narcissus just planted can be moved to a cool place first, and then moved to a sunny place after 5 days. It is a sun loving plant, usually 6-7 hours of light per day can be achieved; if not enough light, may lead to less flowering.

Temperature

The temperature of Narcissus culture should not be too high or too low, generally about 12-20 ℃. Too high temperature will cause the leaves to grow too long and the color will be gray.

5. Precautions

1. Fertilization: fertilization will be carried out 5-7 days after planting, because the rhizome is just growing and mature at this time, and fertilization will not hurt the root. Do not change water within 5-7 days after fertilization, or the fertility of the soil will be lost.

2. Florescence: Narcissus can be planted in autumn and winter, and bloom in early spring; Narcissus can bloom as scheduled in about 40 days, and the florescence can be maintained for almost a whole month.
