Soil: the soil with high nutrient content and strong air permeability is needed for Hydrangea cultivation. Light: moderate but not excessive. Moisture: water often but not too much at a time. More water in spring and summer, less in autumn and less in winter. Temperature: not too high, usually within 18-28 ℃, over 5 ℃ in winter.

I. soil

To raise Hydrangea, we need to use the soil with high nutrient content and strong air permeability. We can mix the rotten leaf soil, garden soil, river sand and cake fertilizer according to the proportion of 4:3:2:1, or mix the rotten leaf soil, sand soil and cake fertilizer according to the proportion of 6:3:1.

2. Light

Hydrangea likes Yin but not Yang. In spring, it's better to move to the outdoor half shade place for maintenance. In summer, it needs to be properly shaded. In autumn, the light is getting weaker. It should be placed in a bright place to promote flower bud differentiation. In winter, it can be placed in the indoor sunward place.

Water content

Hydrangea likes to be wet but is afraid of waterlogging, so it should be watered often but not too much at a time. Water more in spring and summer, reduce the amount of water after autumn, and reduce the amount of water after winter.

Temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for Hydrangea is 18-28 ℃. In winter, keep warm, raise the temperature above 5 ℃ to prevent frostbite.

5. Precautions

1. Acid soil. In addition to normal watering at ordinary times, you can also mix one or two drops of salt free vinegar into the water, which can reduce the pH value of the soil, so as to make Hydrangea grow better

2. Trim in time. In its growth period to carry out heart picking, promote the growth of lateral branches, before winter to cut it short, more conducive to winter.
