The leaves of Schefflera can be cut alive, but the success rate is low. The main propagation methods are seed propagation and plant cutting propagation. Although the steps of leaf cutting are simple, but the external requirements are high, it is better to choose branch cutting
1. Choose the river sand or perlite that is sifted clean to put in the flowerpot, drill several small holes with a small wooden stick, and keep the flowerpot ventilated.
2. In spring, select the branches that have not sprouted, generally select the annual branches, keep the three or four leaves on the top, remove the lower leaves, and cut them into a slope.
3. Insert two-thirds of the branches into each pot, about one to three cuttings, and put them in the place with weak indoor light. Spray water to keep wet, but do not spray too much water, which is easy to cause root waterlogging.
4. Keep the room temperature at 15-25 ℃, spray water once a day in sunny days, and transplant it to another basin one and a half months later.
