The mixture of river mud, pond mud and coal cinder is the best medium for Jinqilin. The proportion of river mud and pond mud is large. This kind of soil has good air permeability and drainage, which is good for the growth of golden unicorn.
Jinqilin likes neutral water. When watering, the water quality cannot be acidic or alkaline. Water should not be too much, which is harmful and useless. Therefore, there should be no water in the flowerpot of the golden unicorn, or the rotten root, stem or even the whole plant will rot. In the period of vigorous growth, the golden unicorn can be watered once every 6 to 7 days. Basically, it needs to see wet and dry. In summer, watering can be more frequent, once a day, but not thoroughly; in winter, it is basically not dry or watered; pay attention to drainage in rainy season. Note that the temperature of the water should not be too different from the indoor temperature. The golden unicorn needs to apply some basic fertilizer when it is planted. In the growing period, it can apply fertilizer once a month, and in the flowering period, it can apply some flower fertilizer to promote flowering.
The golden unicorn comes from the South American desert. It likes light and warm growing environment. It is not cold resistant. During the growing period, keep sufficient light, contact with direct light in spring and autumn, pay attention to shade in summer, and put the golden unicorn in a sunny place for maintenance in winter. Golden Unicorn likes to be warm and not cold resistant. The growth temperature should be between 15 ℃ and 20 ℃. Pay attention to the heat preservation in winter, and put the golden unicorn indoors for winter.
In the process of growth, the branches are not easy to branch, grow very long, the plant type is not beautiful and will blossom less, which affects the viewing, so it should be pruned frequently. Cut the dense and long branches so that they can branch and blossom more.
If the golden unicorn is not properly maintained, such as insufficient light, it will dim the color of the flower. If it is too shaded for a long time, it will not bloom. Water and fertilizer management needs to be done well, not too much, otherwise it will make the plant grow in vain, and may appear atavism phenomenon, affecting the viewing.
Jinqilin can change the basin once a year or two. When changing the basin, take off the soil and repair the root. To keep the pot soil moist after serving, first place the unicorn indoors for about 10 days, and then move it out of the room.
