Zhaocai tree likes sandy soil with strong drainage capacity and high organic matter content. It is better to prepare such soil for it when breeding, which can make it grow better
Its optimum growth temperature is 20-30 ℃. Its adaptability to low temperature is poor. When the temperature is lower than 1 ℃, it will lose a lot of leaves. In winter, the temperature should be kept above 5 ℃.
It has strict requirements for light. It likes sunshine and can't grow in the condition of no light for a long time, or its leaves will fall off in large quantities. But it can not be exposed to strong light, in May - September when the light is strong, it should be shading, otherwise it will appear yellow leaf scorching edge and other bad phenomena.
It can't stand drought, and can't grow in the too wet soil, otherwise it may lead to fallen leaves and seriously affect the view. Therefore, when watering it, we should master the water quantity and keep the soil slightly wet. In addition, we should reduce watering in winter.
