For most of the fleshy meat, it is relatively dry. It is better to be dry than wet in normal growth. It is relatively drought resistant. If it is not watered in a short time, it will not affect its growth for the time being. However, this does not mean that it will not be watered all the time. If it remains dry for a long time and lacks water, it will affect its growth rate.It can not withstand the wet environment, once there is too much water, may cause root rot, the growth of the whole plant will be affected.
1. Seasonal effect: In spring and autumn, the temperature is suitable, and the water is irrigated every 5-7 days or so to provide sufficient water for the normal growth of fleshy meat.Summer temperature is relatively high, the demand for water is increasing, you can irrigate every 1-2 days to ensure vigorous growth.Meat into the winter will be dormant, growth is very slow, water demand is reduced, can be watered every half month.
2. Influence of growth period: The frequency of watering is different in different growth periods. The water requirement is not much in the seedling stage, and it is OK to give water once a week. Some branches in the old pile stage are semi-lignified, and they can be watered once or twice a month.
Succulent plants are more afraid of water accumulation, which may lead to root rot. Take out the plants, cut off the rotten roots, and then prepare new soil for re-planting.
